Inaugural Ceremony 5/9/2017
First Academic Session was started from 2nd April’17, of BEN-HUR GURUKUL & was formally inaugurated by Col. Gagandeep Singh Kochhar, Sena Medal. Teachers were motivated to give their best for students through his golden words :- “Modern Education Is Not To Cut Down Jungles, But To Irrigate Deserts”
World Health Day
Tiny tots of class K G participated in this activity. It was organized to enhance healthy habits in the small kids
Birthday Card Making Competition

FUN DAY
Little champs of class PNC, NC, KG had a lot of fun on this day. They enjoyed several games, dance and had ice-cream party, given by school teachers before summer vacation.
Essay Writing Competition
Students of class IV, V and VI actively participated in this competition. They gave views in a very expressive manner on the topic “SWACHH BHARAT”. Winners were awarded by certificates and trophies.
Mother's Day Celebration
Students were taught to respect their mother. They gave regards in the form of beautiful cards for their lovely moms.
Mango Day
PNC, NC, KG students dressed up like mangoes and put on other yellow dresses too. They recited poems based on Mangoes. School served different types of mangoes to students & they had a lot of fun on this day.
Fancy Dress Competition
Competition was held in two categories, Subjunior (PNC to KG) and Junior (I & II). All the students showed their confidence on the stage in different attractive outfits.
Raksha Bandhan Celebration
Students of PNC to VI took part in Rakhi making activity, with a view that creativity in art helps children to explore their inner selves
Independence Day
Flag hoisting was done by the Head Mistress of the school. Students performed patriotic songs and speeches in a very expressive manner. School distributed biscuits to all the students on this precious day.
Teachers Day
Teachers Day celebration was started by offering flowers on the portrait of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, First President of India. Students showed their respect and feelings for the teachers in different ways. They recited poems, presented skits and speeches on this special day.
Dussehra
Students enacted the characters of Ramayana and delivered the dialogues. To show the victory of good over evil they burnt the effigy of Ravana. Students came to know a few important facts related to Ramayan, through this celebration
Diwali Celebration
On Diwali, Rangoli making competition was held for girls of class IV, V and VI. Diyas decoration was done by boys, under the guidance of their teachers. Teachers gave the guidelines to celebrate a pollution free Diwali and not to use Chinese items for Diwali decorations.
Kids Sports Day
This day was inaugurated by the Trustee of the school, Mr. Parvinder Singh Sahmey. Tiny tots of class PNC, NC and KG played various events with full energy. Winners were awarded with certificates and trophies on 28-10-17. this celebration.
Sports Day of classes I to VI
Students enthusiastically participated in various sports like hurdle race, 50m. race, multi challenge race, balance race etc. Sports day was inaugurated by Mrs. Ranjit Sahmey, Founder Principal of Ben-Hur Public School. Main motive of these sports was to promote an atmosphere of healthy competitive spirit, sportsmanship, mutual co-operation and understanding among the students.
